The brief was to reimagine the property as a robust forever home for a South African family ready to put down roots in Australia. The redesign honours the home’s 1970s architectural spirit while infusing it with a modern farmhouse aesthetic, creating an interior that feels both grounded and timeless.

The interior palette strikes a careful balance between heritage and modernity. Black accents enhance the warmth of the red brick and natural timber ceilings, while white subway tiles and crisp benchtops introduce freshness and light.

A focal point of the kitchen, the existing fireplace was rendered and restyled with a custom oak mantel.
