Samford Valley- North West Brisbane

The modern kitchen in this Samford Valley home draws inspiration from both its bucolic location and the outdoor pizza oven, creating a space that is as functional as it is inviting.
As a south-facing room, it was essential to maximize natural light, achieved through a light, airy palette that harmonizes with the warmth of the timber floors and the tones of the pizza oven. White cabinetry softens the space, while Caesarstone Primordia benchtops introduce a gentle grey infused with subtle copper undertones. Timber and copper accents add tactile warmth and continuity throughout the kitchen.
Designed for a family of avid cooks with grown children, the layout prioritizes efficient cooking stations and generous bench space. An underutilized area between the kitchen and laundry was transformed into a butler’s pantry, providing additional storage and work surfaces while maintaining flow.
Open shelving encourages a relaxed, lived-in feel, perfect for displaying the family’s houseplants and keeping everyday items within easy reach. The result is a light-filled, functional, and texturally rich kitchen, balancing modern elegance with family-focused practicality.
